I'm Sam... or 'Mr Photographer Man' for short...

I feel very very lucky to call this my job!

Photography is simply magic. Preserving our memories and being able to look back at our time on earth really blows my mind.

I have always been a very nostalgic person... I think photography is the reason for this. Digging through dusty boxes of memories is my idea of a perfect rainy afternoon.  

I want my pictures to enhance your memories, not just preserve them.

Wedding photography has come a long way since the days of standing bolt upright all afternoon and forcing out a weary "CHEESE". Todays tech combined with a fresh, modern approach has blown the creative doors off of this industry allowing creative photographers like me to capture weddings in a way that feels alive, expressive and true to the moment.

My style is bold, punchy and full of energy. I'm drawn to bright colours, vibrant light and the energy that surrounds me when two people bring all their friends and family together and celebrate love.
And while I love rich and vivid colour images, I also have a soft spot for timeless black-and-white photography. The combination of the two allow me to deliver a beautiful mix of emotions in my work.

Every moment of your day matters to me. From the quiet anticipation during the build up to the ceremony to the big, unforgettable explosions of chaos and laughter through to the end. I'm there to tell your unique story as it genuinely unfolds. The photos couples treasure most are almost always the natural ones - the overwhelming tears, the spontaneous jokes, the small gestures that mean the most... and even the bits that go wrong but add to the story. This is what makes memories real.

I empathise with those who dislike being photographed, as I too am not overly confident on that side of the lens... I much prefer my end of the deal ;) This is something I always take consideration of when i'm shooting weddings, I don't put pressure on guests or single people out when they show nervousness or apprehension.

My advice is simple... be yourselves. This is your wedding day and these are your pictures, so be you and own your style and personality... it isn't a fashion shoot for vogue!
Unless that's your vibe, in which case... Go BIG!

Embrace the day and savour every minute... it's my job to make sure you have a fantastic album to remember your day, so don't waste time worrying or faffing, you do you and spend your time wisely!
